A STRONG FOUNDATION
First step was to create a sharp logo. True to its name, a ladder motif was used to represent ‘climbing sales’ and business growth. Elements of a lightning bolt also come through, putting the ‘storm’ in Baystorm. The logo was designed to be bold, outgoing and authoritative in its tone.
The main logo colour is blue. This represents trust, confidence and intelligence – all valuable qualities to compliment and boost a business of sales professionals.
Step two, build the brand guideline. If you want to unlock creative impact across all your marketing channels, you need to define your colour palette. Then comes font pairings and a guide on logo use. The Baystorm Digital brand guideline uses shades of navy, a lighter blue and white.
A logo reveal was then created to add motion, to elevate and grab attention.
MAKE IT ICONIC.
Custom line icons were designed to represent company qualities and values. From ‘Growth’ to ‘Market Share’, a clear set of icons helps build a strong brand and make it unique.
After the custom icons were done, it was time to get some illustrated infographics for the website homepage. Statistics were made eye-catching with moving .svg files, leading the customer gaze down to CTA “Start a Conversation”.

CASE IN POINT.
Once the logo and brand guideline was all set up, it was time to move on to design a case study. Created to educate and captivate customer interest, 55 KNOTS produced a white paper and case study for the Baystorm Digital team; a chance to show off the new logo and sharp brand elements.
Next came a round of presentation decks. We added illustrations, icons and infographics for a cohesive look and feel to ensure sales presentations were engaging and taken to the next level.
THE FINISHING TOUCH.
To top it off, a strong business card design used the ladder and lightning motifs with the bold logo design centre stage.
ON YOUR TERMS.
After all key creatives were done and dusted for launch, Baystorm Digital put their subscription on hold for a few months. As soon as they needed some extra design support, their account was easily reactivated.
